Trained as an abstract painter my practice now examines space, identity, and global issues using multimedia and installation. I try and fuse the diverse components of my academic interests and experience into tangible forms. Currently I am preoccupied by The Book of Journeys, my collaboration with my husband Dan, and exploring how text and images can intersect. I am especially interested in how meaning can transcend language. Born and raised in the UK, I spent most of the past ten years living in the US, with short spells in Spain, and am now based in Spain after spending the summer of 2014 in Beirut, Lebanon.
